a different design approach was required for this project which was situated within an oddly-shaped site. the regular typology for educational spaces won’t work as it would result in dead spaces and awkward corners. as a solution to ensure that the spaces were fully utilized, rooms were affixed with flexible walls which can be opened and closed to suit multiple purposes. for instance, these rooms can be extended into larger spaces for workshops and seminars by sliding open the walls or closed up into smaller areas for informal meetings and discussions.
to keep the place bright and spacious, strategically positioned large windows bring in streams of daylight into the interior. bold colours and visually appealing details uplift the environment while accent colours were used to distinguish different rooms, adding on to the vibrant ambience of this business school.
