a project carried out in collaboration with momentum design, the exhibition showroom, office and carpark of la farge were refurbished using concrete as the primary design medium. a prime understanding of concrete and its potential and application was key to ensure that the design came together substantially. as there were many flexible ways to work with this material, the different applications of concrete were incorporated prominently into la farge’s premises.

one of the spaces that stand out is the car park which features a combination of different kinds of concrete that were mixed with colours. for the main spaces like the showroom and office areas, concrete was used primarily for the flooring and on some wall surfaces, complemented by different materials like the timber used for the ceiling detailing.
