jump street kl

a raw underground concept proved to be the perfect setting for jumpstreet, malaysia’s first indoor trampoline park and café located inside a large warehouse. the existing structure was maintained and turned into a car park-inspired space complete with bare cement walls and floor. In this large-scale space, exposed ceilings and steel structures complement jumpstreet’s interconnected trampolines which sprawled from the floor right up to the walls. the layout was kept open and spacious to accommodate large groups of people at the same time.

to make things more visually interesting, the bare surfaces feature diagonal yellow and black lines, zebra crossings and road signs, infusing a unique urban, hipster vibe to match the playful and adrenaline-filled venue. additionally, old lockers from the warehouse were salvaged and upcycled into benches for the café. towards the café area, metal furniture in bold colours provides just the right dose of visual interest to match the underground theme while accentuating the raw outlook of the entire space.
